Military Open House at MMFA

The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts recognizes the many experiences of our nation's armed forces through the celebration of two exhibitions, 1917–2017: A Century of U.S. Airpower from the Air Force Art Collection and Sketching the Skies: Penrose Vass Stout, Alabama's WWI Artist Aviator.

All active-duty military, veterans, and their immediate families are invited to join us for this FREE evening of fun to help commemorate both exhibitions at this year's Military Open House on Thursday, August 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M.

Guests will enjoy art-making activities, music, and a family-friendly dinner. The galleries and ARTWORKS will be open for everyone to enjoy. This event is our way of saying thank you for your service.

Military Open House is sponsored by Montgomery City Council President Charles Jinright with food generously catered by Wintzell's Oyster House.
