The exploration of space is the greatest endeavor that humankind has ever undertaken. What does it take to be part of this incredible journey? What does it take to become an astronaut?

Experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut. Explore the amazing worlds of inner and outer space, from floating around the International Space Station to maneuvering through microscopic regions of the human body.

Discover the perils that lurk in space as we subject ‘Chad’, our test astronaut, to everything that space has to throw at him.

Monday—Thursday 9:30 am, 1:00 pm & 4:00 pm.
Fridays 9:30 am

Closed on January 18th for the Martin Luther Kin, Jr. holiday.

Admission: $7.50 ages 5 and up
Doors open 30 minutes before show starts for ticket sales.
Face Masks REQUIRED for admission into the Planetarium. (Direction of Alabama Public Health Department)
When possible we ask that admission be paid by Credit/Debit Card.
Social Distancing measures will be strictly applied.
No food or drinks inside Auditorium.
