Cottage Hill 40th Celebration

Come celebrate Montgomery's oldest neighborhood, and 40 years as a Historic District, with food and fellowship at Cottage Hill's historic Jubilee Center located at 432 Goldthwaite Street on Saturday, August 19, from 4 - 7 p.m. Come inside to hear stories of the neighborhood's storied past, from former and current residents. A panel discussion with Suzanne Black, Robert Chipman, Ellen Mertins, Ami Simpson, and Randall Williams will recall the early days of the Cottage Hill Foundation. Montgomery's rich history thrives through these story tellings, and we'll be recording these conversations and stories for future generations!

If you have a pictures, videos, stories, or even artifacts you'd like to share with current or former Cottage Hill residents and historians, bring them to share over complimentary food and drinks!

*While in the Cottage Hill neighborhood, we encourage you to bring your binoculars for a stroll down our streets to view our rich population of avian friends among the old growth trees!
