Early Southern Voices

The stories of Alabama's history and settlement have been recorded in the myths and legends of Native Americans, letters and journals of explorers and early settlers, humorous narratives and satires, and slave narratives.

An evening of readings from these varied voices will bring to life the wildness, wit, and true adventures of life in early Alabama.

Join us at the Cloverdale Playhouse on Tuesday, June 27 at 7:30pm for this anthology-style program developed to be part of the "Sense of Place: Stories of Alabama in History and Fiction" SUPER Teacher Institutes sponsored by the Alabama Humanities Foundation.

Tickets are $15. For more information please call (334) 262-1530.

Tue., Jun. 27, 2017, 7:30PM – 9:00PM
