Eclipse: The Sun Revealed
Eclipses are certainly the most awe-inspiring celestial event. During a total solar eclipse, the Moon casts its shadow on a portion of the Earth, creating the incredible spectacle of darkness in the middle of the day.
Eclipse: The Sun Revealed is an introduction to the science of eclipses and their history, as well as an explanation of how to view them safely. Hear first-hand accounts of witnessing a total solar eclipse and witness immersive visualizations that re-create this stunning event. Learn how eclipses revealed aspects of solar science that otherwise remained hidden.
Showing Monday—Thursday @ 4:00 pm and Sundays @ 2:00 pm. General Admission: $7.50 per person for ages 5 and above. Doors open 30 minutes before show starts for ticket sales. No food or drinks inside Auditorium. The presentation and Tour of the Night Sky takes about an hour.
