Rosa Parks Holiday

We are excited to announce an entire weekend (and a little bit of a weekday) of activities surrounding Rosa Parks Day. December 1st is the day that Parks refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus, the final straw preceded by years of organizing and activism. Several organizations and groups in the city will be hosting events to celebrate and remember Rosa Parks. Speakers will include Mayor Steven Reed, Bishop Vashti M. McKenzie, Rev.
