Capital Cool

A twisted comedy about girls gone bad.

Amanda and Lily are childhood friends reunited in high school after a not-entirely-accidental horse euthanasia. They soon become best friends again and bond over how much they hate Lily's stepfather, Mark. Amanda, left almost completely unfeeling by an unspecified illness, suggests they kill him. Lily insists she could never do so - until, that is, Lily watches Mark berate her mother. Mark's going down.

Quickly recognizing that the two of them are high schoolers who have never killed before, they decide to blackmail less-than-successful drug dealer Tim (Anton Yelchin in one of his last films). Unfortunately, there's a reason Tim isn't successful, and the high schoolers will have to square up. Because sometimes, when you love your mother, you've gotta kill somebody.
