Take The Pledge-Gain The Edge
Thanks to a multi-million boost from Governor Kay Ivey’s Tourism Industry Recovery program, the Alabama Tourism Department is now welcoming visitors to a safer Sweet Home Alabama. Take It All In Responsibly, a multi-media advertising campaign targeting surrounding states and funded entirely via the CARES Act, informs potential travelers of the added measures Alabama’s tourism industry is implementing to protect consumers’ health if and when they choose to travel.
Foodservice, lodging, attractions, and retail establishments catering to travelers can benefit directly from the campaign by committing to the Take It All In Responsibly pledge. The pledge is a list of general measures consolidated from credible sources such as the CDC, ADPH, USTA, AHLA and ARHA that can slow the spread and reinforce some degree of consumer confidence in an uncertain market. The pledge form can be completed on the Alabama Tourism Department’s industry website ( https://tourism.alabama.gov/take-it-all-in-responsibly-pledge/ ). Pledged partners can then visit the tourism industry Partner portal ( https://partners.alabama.travel/ ) to update or create their custom partner landing page, especially to add details of recent changes to their own business operations. And, can link to and download campaign assets ( https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jnXgnaaa5NzuTBdfunpL1N9t6prp8Um5 )such as logomarks, rack cards, and posters for use in their locations and digital content.
