EAT South’s Downtown Farm
EAT South promotes the principles of food justice through education and sustainable farming. We empower community-led programs with resources to transform our local food systems. The farm is a living classroom for youth and adult education programs focused on growing and eating healthy food. The farm is a vibrant gathering places that fosters education, sustainability, tourism and economic development for Montgomery and the entire Southeast. Produce grown at the farms is sold throughout the city to improve access to fresh, healthy food and provide income for EAT South. While we are a non-profit, our farms seek to be self-sustaining and the sale of our produce helps us achieve that goal. We use only sustainable methods for producing our food.
