U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, French demonstration team bring thunder to the River Region in April

MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE (Montgomery, AL): The U.S. Air Force’s premier aerial demonstration team, the Thunderbirds, take flight over the River Region in April to showcase their flying skills and to show their appreciation to the public for its patriotism and unwavering support of service men and women.
Joining the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in bringing thunder to the River Region is the Patrouille de France, the French aerial demonstration team.
The “Heritage to Horizons” Air Show at Maxwell Air Force Base is 8-9 April, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day, and is FREE to the public.
The air show also celebrates the Air Force’s 70th anniversary and, in partnership with The United States World War One Centennial Commission, commemorates the U.S. entry into WWI. Vintage aircraft and today’s modern jets will be on display on the ground and in the air, sure to bring “Ohhh!” and “Ahhh!” moments for people of all ages.
